Brandon Stark, known as Brandon the Burner, was a King in the North and a head of House Stark. He was the son of Brandon the Shipwright.[1]
History
[edit]Brandon became King in the North after the disappearance in the Sunset Sea of his father, King Brandon the Shipwright, thousands of years before Aegon's Conquest.[2] In his grief,[3] the new king set fire to his father's shipyards and remaining ships.[3][2] The tombs of father and son are located in the crypt of Winterfell, though that of the Shipwright is empty.[3]

[edit]Maester Luwin has Bran Stark tell Osha about statues of historic Starks in the crypt of Winterfell, including Brandon.[3]
A Clash of Kings
[edit]During the harvest feast, Lord Wyman Manderly offers to build a new warfleet for Robb Stark, King in the North, as the north has lacked naval strength since Brandon the Burner's time.[4]
While leaving the crypts of Winterfell, Bran Stark sees the statues of several Kings in the North, including Brandon the Burner's.[1]
