Duran is an Unsullied sworn to Daenerys Targaryen.

A Storm of Swords
Daenerys Targaryen purchases Unsullied from the Good Masters of Astapor. After freeing the soldiers, she turns them against the slavers with the fall of Astapor.[1]
A Dance with Dragons
As Daenerys told the Unsullied to abolish the practice of choosing a new name every day,[2] Duran presumably chose to go back to his birth name.
Grey Worm informs Daenerys that Duran, while on patrol with another Unsullied named Mossador, was ambushed and killed. Both were crushed by falling stones beneath the river wall of the Skahazadhan, dropped on them by the Sons of the Harpy.[3]
