The eastern gate, sometimes called the hill gate or the Khyzai gate, is a gate in Meereen. Travelers bound for Lhazar via the Khyzai Pass always leave through the eastern gate.[1]

[edit]Joso's Cock, a battering ram made from the mainmast of the galley formerly called Joso's Prank, is used by Daenerys Targaryen's forces to break down the eastern gate during the siege of Meereen.[2]
