Ser Harys Hogg, also known as Harry the Ham, was a knight from House Hogg during the reign of King Jaehaerys I Targaryen.[1]
Appearance and Character
Harys wore a pig's head helm at tourneys, which contributed along with his House name to people calling him "Harry the Ham".[1]
History
Harys was regarded as an up jumped squire in the writings of Archmaester Gyldayn. In 55 AC, Harys became a favorite of the smallfolk during the great melee celebrating the completion of the Dragonpit. In 58 AC, Harys took part in a tourney celebrating King Jaehaerys I's tenth year on the Iron Throne, and was unhorsed by the young Ser Ryam Redwyne of the Kingsguard.[1]
