A Clash of Kings
Kromm is part of the force that accompanies Theon Greyjoy, first in the harrying of the Stony Shore and then in the capture of Winterfell.[1] Theon uses Kromm as a guard within Winterfell.[1]
Kromm remains with Theon after Ser Rodrik Cassel comes to retake Winterfell, and he informs Theon about the battle outside the gates of Winterfell.[2] Kromm is presumably slain during the sack of Winterfell by House Bolton.
Quotes
Kromm: They're fighting. More men came up, hundreds of them, and at first they made to join the others. But now they've fallen on them!
Theon: Is it Asha?
Kromm: No. These are northmen, I tell you. With a bloody man on their banner.[2]
