Lord Fowler was a head of House Fowler during the rign of King Aegon I.

History

During the First Dornish War, in 10 AC, Lord Fowler led a Dornish host through the Prince's Pass and then surprised the unsuspecting marcher lords by quickly raiding the Reach and capturing Nightsong, taking Lord Caron and his family captive. When word reached Oldtown, Ser Addam Hightower was sent by his father with a strong force to retake the castle. When Addam arrived at Nightsong, however, Lord Fowler had already put the castle to the torch and the garrison to the sword, taking Lord Caron, his wife, and their children back to Dorne as captives.^[1]

When word reached the Targaryens, Aegon the Conqueror vowed to make Skyreach a "second Harrenhal" and used the dragonflame of Balerion against the castle during the Dragon's Wroth.^[1] Lord Fowler was murdered for the Iron Throne's ransom on his head.^[2]
