Lord of the Rainwood

Lord of the Rainwood is a title devised by Stannis Baratheon and granted by him to Ser Davos Seaworth, along with that of Admiral of the Narrow Sea, when he names the former smuggler as his Hand of the King, thus promoting him from a mere landed knight to a high lord on par with the rest of the stormlords.[1][2]

It is not mentioned if this title makes Davos the liege lord of the noble houses established on the Rainwood - as, for example, the Lord of the Marches is not the liege lord of the rest of marcher lords. It also not mentioned if the title will pass to Davos' successor.
