Monterys Velaryon is a member of House Velaryon and is the young heir of Monford Velaryon, Lord of the Tides.[2]
Recent Events
A Storm of Swords
After the death of his father at the Battle of the Blackwater,[3] Monterys becomes the head of House Velaryon at the age of six.[4]
When King Stannis Baratheon makes Davos Seaworth his new Hand, Davos protests, saying there is surely someone better, and Stannis points out that the new Lord Velaryon is a boy of six.[4]
