Osmynd was the septon at the sept of Riverrun when Catelyn Tully was a child.[2]
Character
Septon Osmynd sang, he had a thin, quavering voice when he sang.[1] To the young Catelyn Stark, Osmynd always seemed to know everything.[1]
History
Septon Osmynd instructed Catelyn Tully in the Faith of the Seven when she was a girl. He taught her that their god was a single deity with seven aspects, just as a sept is a single building with seven walls. He told Catelyn that, though seven different aspects of the Seven exist, each embodies all of the Seven.[2]
It is unknown if Septon Osmynd performed the dual weddings of Catelyn and Lysa Tully in the sept of Riverrun during Robert's Rebellion. By 299 AC, Osmynd was long dead.[1]

Catelyn Stark recalls her lessons with Septon Osmynd while praying at a sept in a village near Storm's End.[2]
