Character
[edit]The pitchfork knight was not well loved by the commons.[1]
History
[edit]A knight of House Haigh,[2] the pitchfork knight attended the tourney at Harrenhal with his squire. His squire attacked a crannogman with two other squires. After the pitchfork knight earned a spot among the champions on the second day of the tourney, a mystery knight known as the Knight of the Laughing Tree challenged and defeated first the porcupine knight, next the pitchfork knight, and finally the knight of the two towers, the squires of whom had taken part in the attack. The commons cheered because the pitchfork knight was not well loved, and the Knight of the Laughing Tree instructed him to teach his squire honor when he attempted to ransom his horse and armor.[1]
