Walder Frey, known as Red Walder,[1] is the youngest son of Ser Emmon Frey, the second son of Lord Walder Frey, and Genna Lannister, the sister of Lord Tywin Lannister. He has three brothers: Ser Cleos, Ser Lyonel, and Tion Frey.
Character
[edit]Red Walder is a page[3][4][5] or squire[6] at Casterly Rock, the seat of House Lannister. His nickname might come from the crimson field in the Lannister coat of arms, since his mother Genna comes from that family,[3] or he might have red hair.
