Sylva Santagar, known as Spotted Sylva, is a member of House Santagar. She is the heir of Ser Symon Santagar, the Knight of Spottswood.
Appearance
Sylva has many freckles.[3]
History
Sylva is a childhood friend of Princess Arianne Martell.[3] They were children at the Water Gardens together, usually a group of five, along with Tyene Sand, Garin, and Andrey Dalt.[4]
Because of her freckles, Sylva received the nickname "Spotted Sylva". Her friends like to pretend the nickname comes from the fact that she is the heir to Spottswood, as the Santagars' sigil is a spotted leopard.[3]

Princess Arianne Martell invites Sylva to be one her co-conspirators to make Princess Myrcella Baratheon the Queen of the Andals, the Rhoynar, and the First Men. During their travels, they are intercepted by Areo Hotah on the Greenblood. Sylva is among those captured.[3]
Though Doran Martell, the Prince of Dorne, deigns not to punish Sylva for her role in the conspiracy, she is sent home to her father, Ser Symon Santagar. Symon quickly betroths Sylva to the aged Eldon Estermont, Lord of Greenstone. Sylva is sent to Greenstone and married soon after.[5][4]
