Tytos Frey is a knight from House Frey and is the eldest son of Ser Jared Frey and Alys Frey. He is married to Zhoe Blanetree and has two children; Zia and Zachery Frey.[3]
Appearance
During the fighting at the Red Wedding, Tytos wears a surcoat with the two towers of Frey over his armor and a helm with an eyeslit. He wields a longaxe.[4]
Recent Events
A Storm of Swords
Tytos is killed in the camps outside the Twins during the Red Wedding. He tries to charge Arya Stark on his horse, and Arya throws a rock at his head. As Tytos curses her, Sandor Clegane puts an axe through the back of his head.[4][2][5]
When Merrett Frey is captured by the brotherhood without banners, he defends House Frey's actions against the Starks, claiming vengeance was their right and pointing to the Frey losses at the wedding, including Tytos.[2]
A Dance with Dragons
Ser Jared Frey tells the Merman's Court that his son was killed by Robb Stark, who had changed into a wolf.[6]
