Yormwell was a maester in service of Prince Baelor Targaryen.[1]
History
After Ser Humfrey Hardyng's leg was broken when Prince Aerion Targaryen killed his horse during a tilt at the tourney at Ashford Meadow, Prince Baelor sent his own maester to tend to him. Yormwell treated Prince Maekar Targaryen after the trial of seven. Prince Baelor intended to send Yormwell to treat Ser Duncan the Tall's injuries when he finished with his younger brother but died before he could.[1]
