Robin Flint is the son of Lady Lyessa Flint from House Flint of Widow's Watch.[1] George R. R. Martin wrote in 1999 that he had not specified which Flint branch Robin is from,[3] while the semi-canon A Song of Ice and Fire Campaign Guide from 2012 states Robin is also the Lord of House Flint of Flint's Finger.[2]

Robin remains with Robb Stark's force after the split of the northern host at the Twins. He is named to Robb's personal guard during the Battle of the Whispering Wood.[4] He is one of the elder members of the group, along with Ser Wendel Manderly.
