Lord Roote is the head of House Roote.[1]
History
Lord Roote was the owner of a large boat with carved wooden horse heads at the fore and aft, known as "Old King Andahar's two-headed water horse.[1]
Recent Events
A Storm of Swords
While taking Arya Stark to the Twins, Sandor Clegane decides to go to Lord Harroway's Town and use Lord Roote's two-headed water horse to cross the river. At the holdfast in Harroway's, encounter a bentbacked man and his companions, a number of whom look like they could be his relatives, who agrees to take them across. Arya wonders if the man is Lord Roote. She thinks the man does not look much like a lord, but also considers that she doesn't look much like a lady either.[1]
