Osha is a Wildling woman who comes into the service of House Stark
Recent Events
A Game of Thrones
Whilst riding in the Wolfswood, Bran and Robb Stark encounter a band of six outlaws comprised of Night's Watch deserters and Wildlings, including Osha. The outlaws attempt to take the two hostage, and all of the band but Osha are killed. Osha surrenders and is taken as a hostage to Winterfell[1]. There she is given a limited freedom of the castle for her good behavior, and bonds with Bran to a degree, sharing with him a common devotion to the Old Gods[2]
A Clash of Kings
After Winterfell is taken by Theon Greyjoy, Osha helps Bran and Rickon Stark, and their direwolves, escape along with Meera and Jojen Reed. They then split up, with Bran and the Reeds heading North while Osha escorts Rickon to parts as yet unknown.[3]
