Syrax was the dragon Rhaenyra Targaryen rode during the Dance of the Dragons. She roasted Ser Byron Swann when he try to kill her by sneaking up behind his shield so the dragon would see only its reflection, as Serwyn of the Mirrored Shield did to Urrax.
