[edit]Ser Tanton supports the claim of Renly Baratheon during the War of the Five Kings. While marching to King's Landing, he is amongst the noblemen who are camped with Renly beneath the walls of Bitterbridge. During the feast he swears to slay Sandor Clegane in single combat, though the vow is not taken seriously as he mistakenly steps in a gravy boat.[1]
A Storm of Swords
[edit]Ser Tanton, a survivor of the Battle of the Blackwater, has bent the knee to King Joffrey I Baratheon. He is a sworn sword in the service of Lord Mace Tyrell.[2]
