Olyvar Frey

Olyvar Frey (born 281 AL) is the eighteenth son of Lord Walder Frey, the fourth with his sixth wife Bethany Rosby. He is a passionate and anxious young man.

During the War of the Five Kings he squired for Robb Stark, until the Freys abandoned the cause.

Robb Stark took Olyvar as a squire as part of the pact sealed between Catelyn Stark and Lord Walder to join the Freys to the Stark cause. Two years older than Robb, Olyvar was considered an excellent squire who proved his devotion to Robb and the Starks. He fought by Robb's side in the Battle of the Whispering Woods and other battles.

When the Freys abandoned Robb's cause due to his marriage to Jeyne Westerling, Olyvar wished to stay with him, but ultimately returned to his family. He did not participate in the Red Wedding, and Ryman Frey claimed that he could not attend because he was "on duty". It is possible that the other Freys kept him away due to his friendship with Robb. No information has yet come to light about his reaction to the Red Wedding or his actions afterwards.
