Dormund, together with his father Tormund, brother Toregg, and sister Munda, and others join Ygritte when she sings "The Last of the Giants".[1] When Longspear Ryk comes to 'steal' Munda, Dryn and Dormund give Ryk a fight to defend their sister's honor.[2]
A Dance with Dragons
Tormund reveals to Jon Snow that Dormund was cut down during the battle beneath the Wall by a knight under Stannis Baratheon who had moths on his shield.[3][N 1]
