The godswood at Storm's End[1][2][3] is found at Storm's End, the seat of House Baratheon.

[edit]The heart tree of the godswood is a huge white weirwood with a solemn face.[4]

[edit]After the death of Ser Cortnay Penrose during the siege of Storm's End, Lord Elwood Meadows yields the castle to Stannis Baratheon.[5] Melisandre, a red priestess advising Stannis, has the king burn the godswood as an offering to R'hllor, the Lord of Light, with a great pyre being made from the trees.[2]
Prior to the Battle of the Blackwater, Tyrion Lannister has the High Septon spread ward that Stannis next intends to burn the Great Sept of Baelor in King's Landing.[1]
A Storm of Swords
