Jeyne Mooton was a member of House Mooton during the Dance of the Dragons and the reign of King Aegon III Targaryen.[2] Her relation to the head of the house, Lord Manfryd Mooton, is unknown.

Jeyne was a possible marriage candidate for King Aegon III Targaryen. She was one of the many maidens injured or scandalized, and suffered what was called the "Maiden's Day curse." Not long after the ball known as the Maiden's Day Cattle Show was announced, it was put about that Jeyne Mooton, Jeyne Smallwood, and Jeyne Merryweather (known collectively as the Three Jeynes) liked to dress in squire's garb, visiting the brothels along the Street of Silk to kiss and fondle the women there as if they were boys. It was possible that this was a rumor fabricated by Lord Unwin Peake, who wished to promote his own daughter as Aegon III's second queen.[2]
