Lady Staunton was the wife of Lord Staunton, the ruling Lord of Rook's Rest and head of House Staunton during the Dance of the Dragons. Her given name and birth house are unknown.
History
After the execution of her husband at the Battle of Rook's Rest, Lady Staunton took charge of House Staunton. During the Hour of the Wolf, when Lord Cregan Stark and his northmen took control of King's Landing and secured the young king Aegon III Targaryen, she rode from Duskendale to King's Landing with the armies of Ser Corwyn Corbray and Lord Clement Celtigar.[1]
