Lamprey is a gaoler on Dragonstone.[2] He receives his nickname from Ser Davos Seaworth; the gaoler's given name is unknown.
Appearance
Lamprey is stooped and has yellowish skin. He has greasy unwashed hair and pebbled skin. He is a brusque gaoler.[2]
Lamprey wears a doublet of white velvet with a ring of golden stars upon it.[2] He may thus have been a servant of House Sunglass or took it from someone affiliated with that House, as Lord Guncer Sunglass was burned by Melisandre.[3]
Recent Events
A Storm of Swords
While Ser Davos Seaworth is imprisoned beneath Dragonstone, one of his gaolers is Lamprey. Though not his real name, he receives the nickname Lamprey because he once brings Davos half a lamprey pie. Davos finds the other gaoler, Porridge, to be more friendly than Lamprey.[2]
Quotes
I am not a man to him, Davos thought, only a stone that eats and shits and speaks.[2]
