Lord Smallwood was the Lord of Acorn Hall and the head of House Smallwood during the reign of King Aerys I Targaryen.[1] His given name is unknown.

History

In 212 AC, Lord Smallwood and his wife came to Whitewalls with a retinue to attend the wedding of the daughter of Lord Frey to Lord Ambrose Butterwell. Ser Kyle the Cat tried to ingratiate himself with Lord Smallwood, as they were slightly acquainted prior to the festivities.[1]

Lord Smallwood's nephew broke his wrist during the wedding tourney at Whitewalls.[1] Ser Glendon Flowers was imprisoned after being accused of stealing the prize of the tourney, Ambrose's treasured dragon egg. When Ser Duncan the Tall publicly declared that Glendon had been falsely accused, Daemon II Blackfyre ordered Lords Smallwood, Sunderland, and Vyrwel to fetch Glendon from the dungeons.[1] It is unknown if Lord Smallwood suffered any punishment for the part he played in the Second Blackfyre Rebellion, which was suppressed by Lord Brynden Rivers.[1]
