Lyonel Selmy was a knight and possibly the head of House Selmy after the reign of King Aegon V Targaryen.[N 1]
Family
Lyonel's father did not trust the Dornishmen.[5] Lyonel had at least two sons, including Ser Barristan Selmy.[4]
Notes
- ↑ When Barristan Selmy, the eldest son of Lyonel, joined the Kingsguard, he gave up the claim to his family seat.[3] That implies Barristan was in line for inheriting the lordship of Harvest Hall. However, according to Barristan's entry in the White Book, he was the firstborn son of "Ser Lyonel Selmy of Harvest Hall".[4] That implies Lyonel had not been the Lord of Harvest Hall yet at the time Barristan was named to the Kingsguard. Whether Lyonel became the head of House Selmy afterwards is currently unknown.
