Quaro is a Dothraki warrior assigned to the khas of Daenerys Targaryen within the khalasar of Khal Drogo.
Recent Events
A Game of Thrones
Quaro is one of four young warriors assigned to guard Daenerys Targaryen. When Viserys Targaryen attacks his sister in the Dothraki sea, Quaro advises Daenerys to take an ear from Viserys to teach him respect.[1] He later accompanies Daenerys during her visit to the Western Market in Vaes Dothrak, challenging Rakharo to a friendly eating contest. Quaro helps stop an assassination attempt on Daenerys's life by a wineseller.[2]
During the raid on the Lhazareen settlement, Quaro is commanded by Daenerys to stop the Dothraki riders raping the captured Eroeh, though he protests against stopping it.[3]
When Daenerys intends to have Khal Drogo healed by Mirri Maz Duur using blood magic, Drogo's bloodriders try to stop it from happening. In the ensuing fight, Quaro is killed by Qotho.[4]
A Dance with Dragons
Quaro is remembered by Daenerys when she thinks back to the followers who have died under her service.[5]
