|Title(s)||Maester at Faircastle|
|Book(s)||Fire & Blood (mentioned)|
Smike wrote to the Citadel after Lord Franklyn brusquely commanded his late father's guest, Princess Rhaena Targaryen, to depart Fair Isle. In the letter, Smike states that Franklyn did not realize how close he came to death, for the maester could see the fire in the princess's eyes, who took his lordship's words and tone as a great slight against her.
