The comatose Bran Stark has a dream of his mother, Catelyn Stark, and a seasick Ser Rodrik Cassel sailing through the Bite.[2]

Catelyn and Rodrik take the Storm Dancer from White Harbor to King's Landing, but Rodrik becomes seasick during the journey. During a storm near Dragonstone, the knight clings to a rope when nearly swept overboard and has to be rescued by three crewmembers.[1]

When the galley arrives in the capital, Catelyn rewards each of the oarsmen with a silver stag. Moreo Tumitis offers to hold onto his crew's silver until they return to Tyrosh, but Catelyn insists on personally paying each oarsman. She also gives a copper to two crewmembers who bring the travelers' chests to an old inn on Eel Alley.[1]

A Dance with Dragons

Storm Dancer is in White Harbor when Lord Davos Seaworth arrives on Merry Midwife. Davos sees one of the ship's oarsmen drinking in the Lazy Eel.[3]

Quotes

Catelyn: Your oarmen have done well by us, Captain. Each one of them shall have a silver stag, as a token of my gratitude.

Moreo: You are far too generous, Lady Stark. The honor of carrying a great lady like yourself is all the reward they need.

Catelyn: But they'll take the silver anyway.[1]

The galley skimmed the water like a dragonfly, her oars rising and falling in perfect time.[1]

—thoughts of Catelyn Stark

King's Landing, my lady, as you did command, and never has a ship made a swifter or surer passage.[1]
