Tourney at Duskendale in honor of Lord Darklyn's wedding

A tourney at Duskendale in honor of Lord Darklyn's wedding was held in Duskendale, seat of House Darklyn, in 72 AC.^[1]

History

The tourney celebrated the marriage of Lord Darklyn to a daughter of Lord Theomore Manderly. The tourney included a squire's melee in which Prince Aemon Targaryen was the victor, defeating his younger brother Prince Baelon. Aemon also distinguished himself in the lists, and he was subsequently knighted for his jousting skills. After returning to King's Landing, the newly-made knight took to the skies as a dragonrider on Caraxes.^[1]
