Ser Harbert is the old castellan of Storm's End. He is the great-uncle of Robert, Stannis and Renly Baratheon.[1] His family name is not stated so it is not clear is Ser Harbert is a Baratheon himself.[2]
History
During his time as castellan, Ser Harbert counsels Maester Cressen to kill Patchface because he thinks that the fool suffers. Cressen disagrees and wins the argument.[3] Stannis recalls that he found a wounded hawk and nursed it back to health. He tried to teach the bird to hunt but had no success. Ser Harbert persuaded Stannis to use a different bird.[4]
