The sweating sickness is a disease found in the known world.
History
The sweating sickness broke out on the Three Sisters in 54 AC.[1] When people close to Rhaena Targaryen began dying at Dragonstone that same year, Maester Culiper determined they did not suffer from the sweating sickness, the shaking sickness, or greyscale. It was eventually discovered that the victims had been poisoned by Androw Farman, Rhaena's husband.[1]
