Olyvar Oakheart, known as the Green Oak, was a knight from House Oakheart. He was a member of the Kingsguard during the reign of King Daeron I Targaryen.[1]
History
[edit]Olyvar died at the side of his king, Daeron I Targaryen, as depicted in a tapestry at Old Oak.[1] King Daeron was slain under a banner of peace when the Dornishmen betrayed and attacked him during the Conquest of Dorne in 161 AC. Three knights of his Kingsguard died in his defense,[2] and Olyvar Oakheart may have been one of these three men.
