House Tuttle
Region North
Overlord House Forrester

House Tuttle is a minor house of low birth in the north. The family owns a pig farm. Two of its members, Duncan and Gared, are in service of the Forrester of Ironrath. House Tuttle appears only in Game of Thrones - A Telltale Games Series.

House Tuttle owned a pig farm. As the eldest son, Duncan Tuttle was expected to inherit the farm, but while visiting Ironrath one day, he struck an unexpected friendship with Gregor Forrester, heir to House Forrester. The two became close friends, and when Gregor inherited his family's seat, Duncan was named castellan.

Known members of House Tuttle

The following members of House Tuttle appear in Game of Thrones - A Telltale Games Series:

Duncan Tuttle

Duncan is the castellan of Ironrath for Lord Gregor Forrester. When the Stark forces are betrayed during the Red Wedding, Lord Gregor is lost in the fighting. With his last words, directed to Duncan's nephew Gared, he urges Gared to tell Duncan that "the North Grove can never be lost", a message that eventually reaches Duncan.

Gared Tuttle

Gared is the nephew of Duncan, and the squire of Lord Gregor Forrester, and is promised knighthood on the night of the Red Wedding. However, when House Frey betrays the Stark forces, Gared attempts to aid his Lord. Lord Gregor, however is mortally wounded in the fighting. Before he dies, Lord Gregor gives Gared his greatsword and a mysterious instruction for his uncle, Duncan, who is castellan to Ironrath, to secure the North Grove.

Managing to trek back to the north, Gared returns home only to find his father under attack by a trio of Bolton and Whitehill men. This is apparently part of a terror campaign to make House Forrester submissive to the new Warden of the North, Roose Bolton, as represented by his bastard son, Ramsay Snow. Gared kills two of their murderers in retribution, but the third, Britt Warrick, escapes and brings word of Gared's defiance to Ludd Whitehill, Lord of Highpoint. Gared's sister is has died before he arrives, and his father dies soon after from his wounds.

After returning Lord Gregor's greatsword to his family, Gared flees Ironrath and heads for the Wall to join the Night's Watch.[1] At the Wall and is quickly brought into the ranks of the trainees by Frostfinger, who is made aware of Gared's circumstances by a letter from Duncan. Gared soon begins to train among the other new recruits, including Finn and Cotter. Finn reveals himself to be a bully, and when his dagger is stolen by Cotter, he and Gared come to blows in the practice yard. Both combatants are admonished and punished by Frostfinger, but Jon Snow takes Gared to the top of the Wall to further ask him about his origins and intentions.[2]
