A Dance with Dragons
In Lys, Maester Kedry and his five companions take rooms in an inn so Kedry can help Ser Archibald Yronwood regain his strength, as travelling at sea does not agree with the knight. At some point, he gives Ser Gerris Drinkwater a book on Volantis. They next board the Meadowlark to travel to Volantis.[2]
Meadowlark is attacked by corsairs while anchored off the coast of the Disputed Lands, and Maester Kedry is among those slain. Together with Ser Cletus Yronwood and Ser Willam Wells, two other Dornish companions, Kedry is burried at sea.[2]
