|Title(s)||Lord Commander of the Night's Watch|
|Book(s)||Fire & Blood (mentioned)|
Lothor hosted Alysanne Targaryen when the queen visited Castle Black in 58 AC. Lord Alaric Stark of Winterfell had sent word to the Night's Watch beforehand, so Lothor honored Alysanne with eight hundred black brothers when she arrived at the Wall. The lord commander served mammoth, mead, and stout at the welcoming feast. Burley considered his accommodations to be unbecoming of a queen, but Alysanne gracefully praised his efforts.
Alysanne suggested to Lothor that the Nightfort, the oldest and largest castle at the Wall, which was too costly to maintain, be replaced with a smaller castle nearby. She used her own jewels (including her own crown) to finance the construction of the castle, which was named Deep Lake. The queen also persuaded Burley to escort her to Mole's Town, where she held one of her women's courts amongst the prostitutes who lived there.
Lothor: We do what we can, Your Grace, but our beds are hard, our halls are cold, and our food—
Alysanne: —is nourishing. And that is all that I require. It will please me to eat as you do.—Lothor and Alysanne Targaryen
