Recent Events
A Game of Thrones
When Drogo fell ill, Pono was the first to declare himself khal and took part of Drogo's khalasar with him.[1]
A Clash of Kings
When Daenerys Targaryen sets out with her khalasar, she is advised from going downriver by Rakharo. He says that is the direction that Pono took. He took 10 000 of Drogo's khalasar with him.[2]
A Dance with Dragons
The khalasar of Khal Pono is reported to be near Volantis. His Khalasar is said to be thirty thousand strong and other Khals such as Zekko and Motho fear his Khalasar.
