Twenty five years, in a forest, Cersei Lannister and a reluctant Melara Heatherspoon reach the lair of the Woods Witch, Maggy, and the former demands to know her future and Maggy relents after being threatened, taking a cut of her blood and offering the answer to three questions, which she answers cryptically: Cersei will marry the king instead of the prince, will bear three offspring while the king will father twenty and she will be queen for a time before being cast down by a more younger and beautiful queen, relishing her horror.
