Antario Jast is the Lord and the head of House Jast in the westerlands. He is married to Lady Lanna Lannister, a cousin to the main line of House Lannister. He has sons,[2] but it is unconfirmed whether they are from Lanna or an earlier wife.[3]
Appearance
Lord Jast owns black steel armor with three golden lion heads inlaid on the breastplate.[4]
Recent Events
A Clash of Kings
Antario is among Ser Stafford Lannister's army. He is injured and captured, along with his sons, during the Battle of Oxcross. A rumor soon spreads claiming that he died during this battle.[2]
A Storm of Swords
Antario is a captive at Pinkmaiden Castle.[5]
A Feast for Crows
Freed from his captivity, Antario participates in the funeral procession of Lord Tywin Lannister in King's Landing. According to Ser Jaime Lannister, Antario's wounds and imprisonment have left him a shadow of the man he had been.[4] Though Jaime thinks his situation is not as severe as for his cousin, Lancel Lannister, the new Lord of Darry.[4]
