Morghaz zo Zherzyn,[1] or Morghar zo Zherzyn,[2] is a Yunkish nobleman called the Drunken Conqueror.

Morghaz is young, fit, and dashing.[3]

A Dance with Dragons
The Windblown, a sellsword company hired by Yunkai, mock him as the "Drunken Conqueror", as he is always drunk.[4][1]
Morghaz is among the seven commanders who enter Meereen to sign the peace and witness the opening of the fighting pits. During the feast held in the Great Pyramid to celebrate the signing of the peace.[3]
The Winds of Winter
Morghaz becomes supreme commander of the Yunkai'i on the eve of battle during the Second Siege of Meereen due to the death of Gorzhak zo Eraz, who was slain by the Tattered Prince. Morghaz swears that the turncloak who names himself the Prince of Tatters shall die screaming for this infamy.
Due to Daenerys Targaryen's Unsullied advancing toward the Harpy's Daughter, Morghaz gives orders that while Bloodbeard and two Ghiscari legions stand against them and hold the line, the Second Sons are to sweep around behind the eunuchs and take them in the rear, sparing none. A Yunkish nobleman passes this command on to the Second Sons while they are meeting in Brown Ben Plumm's tent. They ignore Morghaz's command, and slay his messenger.[2]
