Eel Alley is an alley in King's Landing.
Geography
[edit]A Game of Thrones states that the old inn on Eel Alley is found halfway up Visenya's Hill.[1] The Lands of Ice and Fire, however, places Eel Alley near the Hook on Aegon's High Hill.[2]
Inns and taverns can be found on Eel Alley.[1][3][4]
History
[edit]Princess Viserra Targaryen visited the inns of Eel Alley and River Row with her companions for "one last night of laughter" before being sent to White Harbor to marry old Lord Theomore Manderly. She died that night in a drunken horse race in an alley at the foot of Aegon's High Hill, however.[3]
Tom Tanglebeard was in a tavern of Eel Alley when agents of the conspirators who killed King Aegon II Targaryen found him. They drowned him in a cask of ale.[4]

A Storm of Swords
[edit]Ser Jaime Lannister recalls the time he spent the night at an old inn on Eel Alley with his sister Cersei when he visited her after the defeat of the Kingswood Brotherhood.[5]
A Feast for Crows
[edit]Cersei tries to influence Jaime to become King Tommen's Hand of the King by using their memory of the night spent together in the inn years ago. She fails, however, and Jaime rejects her.[6]
