Gawen Glover is a member of House Glover, the son of Robett and Sybelle Glover.[2] The appendices of A Clash of Kings and A Storm of Swords state that Gawen is the heir to Deepwood Motte, while the appendices of A Feast for Crows and A Dance with Dragons state that his father Robett is the heir of Galbart Glover.
Recent Events
A Clash of Kings
Gawen is too young to make the long journey to Winterfell. Gawen's mother Sybelle Glover rules Deepwood Motte while her husband is away, but she sends her steward to Winterfell to attend the harvest feast in her place because she was loathe to leave her young children. Bran Stark surmises the children are an excuse and it is the steward who actually rules.[3] Gawen is captured, along with his sister Erena and mother Sybelle, when the ironborn take Deepwood Motte.[4]
A Storm of Swords
Gawen, his sister and mother are held captive at Deepwood Motte by Asha Greyjoy.[5]
A Feast for Crows
The Glovers are taken to Ten Towers in the Iron Islands by Asha.[6]
A Dance with Dragons
Gawen and his sister are left captive at Ten Towers by Asha under the care of her aunt Gwynesse Harlaw.[7]
