Glendon Hewett is a knight of House Hewett and a member of the Night's Watch stationed at Eastwatch-by-the-Sea.[2] His relation to Lord Humfrey Hewett of Oakenshield is unknown.

A Storm of Swords
Ser Glendon is among the men allied with Lord Janos Slynt when they arrive at Castle Black from Eastwatch-by-the-Sea.[2] Glendon and his men drag Jon Snow with Rattleshirt before Janos and Ser Alliser Thorne;[2] Glendon kicks Jon in the ribs.[3] Glendon also kicks Rattleshirt into silence.[2]
A Feast for Crows
Glendon serves as master-at-arms of Eastwatch.[4]
A Dance with Dragons
In the absence of Cotter Pyke, Glendon is named temporary commander of Eastwatch. Jon, now Lord Commander of the Night's Watch, is informed of Glendon's appointment in a message from Cotter and Maester Harmune. Jon is troubled by the news, as Glendon, while capable, was friendly with Alliser and the late Janos.[3]
