Gowen Baratheon was the third son of a reigning Lord of Storm's End.[1]
In the television adaptation A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, Gowen is portrayed by Connan Aaron.
History
Gowen was married to Lady Tya Lannister. Their wedding, circa 208 AC, was the last between houses Lannister and Baratheon until the marriage of King Robert I Baratheon and Queen Cersei Lannister[1] some seventy-six years later.[N 1] Gowen and Tya had one son, a "large and lusty lad" born with a full head of black hair, who died in his infancy.[1]
Family
Gowen was the third son of a Lord of Storm's End. Lyonel Baratheon was known to be the heir to Storm's End in 209 AC.[2] Thus, Gowen and Lyonel might have been brothers.
