Khrazz is a celebrated pit fighter from Meereen.[3]

Appearance and Character

Khrazz is a tall man[4] with cold,[5] dead eyes and pale skin.[6] He has a crest of bristly red-black hair that runs down the center of his head from his brow to the base of his neck.[4][6]

Khrazz is a pit fighter of great skill and speed[6] who believes that eating the hearts of his foes makes him stronger.[4] Khrazz is able to wield a shortsword in the fighting pits of Meereen,[4] but his weapon of choice is a Dothraki arakh which he wields like a blur.[6]

History

Khrazz is of humble Meereenese birth.[4]

A Dance with Dragons

Khrazz, along with his fellow pit fighters Barsena Blackhair, Camarron of the Count, Goghor the Giant, the Spotted Cat, Fearless Ithoke, and Belaquo Bonebreaker, accompanies Hizdahr zo Loraq when he petitions Daenerys Targaryen for the seventh time for the fighting pits of Meereen to be reopened.[7]

Khrazz fights the first match in Daznak's Pit on the day the fighting pits are reopened. After using a shortsword to kill a Summer Islander armed with a trident, Khrazz cuts the man's heart out and bites it.[4]

After Daenerys has disappeared on Drogon's back, Khrazz is one of several pit fighters who become bodyguards to King Hizdahr.[5]

When Ser Barristan Selmy goes to arrest Hizdahr, Khrazz comes to the defense of his king. Although he is both younger and heavier than Barristan, he is not used to fighting a man in armor, which protects Barristan from Khrazz's arakh. Despite taking several wounds, Khrazz refuses to yield. Barristan disembowels the pit fighter and stabs him in the heart.[6]

Quotes by Khrazz
