During the Westerosi civil war, Admiral Lohar commanded a fleet of ninety Myrish, Lysene and Tyroshi warships under the banners of the Three Daughters who had allied themselves to King Aegon II Targaryen. On a mission to break the blacks's blockade of the Gullet, Sharako Lohar took the fleet of ninety warships up from the Stepstones, bending their oars for battle.
Admiral Lohar was in command during what turned out to be one of the bloodiest sea battles in all of history. The Three Daughters emerged victorious. Of the ninety original warships, twenty-eight survived to limp home. Of these, all but three were crewed by Lyseni. This fact caused some in Myr and Tyrosh to turn against Lohar, accusing him of holding back his Lysene crews while sending the other men of the Triarchy to their doom. This sparked a quarrel that would result in the Daughter's War two years later, shattering the Triarchy.
During the battle, the fleet captured the cog Gay Abandon. Prince Viserys was made the captive of a Tyroshi captain, but Admiral Lohar soon took the Prince into his charge. Wanting for gold and allies due to his disgraceful defeat in the Gullet, he sold Viserys to Bambarro Bazanne, in exchange for the prince's weight in gold and a promise of support. Eventually, he was murdered by one of his rivals for the favor of the courtesan known as the Black Swan. The Triarchy collapsed into the Daughters' War.
