Togarion Bar Emmon, known as Togarion the Terrible, was an Andal warlord of House Bar Emmon during the Andal invasion.[1]
History
During the Andal invasion, Togarion the Terrible established a small kingdom of his own north of the Blackwater Bay. However, he soon found himself hard-pressed by the Darklyn king of Duskendale.[1]
Across the bay, Qarlton III Durrandon, the Storm King, reconquered Massey's Hook following four generations of war, having slain the Hook's last king Josua Massey. Sensing weakness to the south, Togarion wed Josua Softspear's daughter and crossed Blackwater Bay with all his power to establish a new kingdom on the Hook. He built his own castle of Sharp Point at the Hook's end, whilst driving the stormlanders from Stonedance and installing his wife's brother as a puppet lord.[1]
While Torgarion the Terrible was the first Andal warlord to invade the Kingdom of the Storm, others soon followed that brought graver concerns to Qarlton III than the reloss of Massey's Hook.[1] In time, the Storm Kings would reconquer Togarion's small kingdom, and Sharp Point and Stonedance became vassals of Storm's End.[2]
