A Storm of Swords
Tumberjon is part of the great ranging that leaves Castle Black to search for wildlings. He is one of the scouts commanded by Thoren Smallwood who are sent up the Frostfangs to find the wildlings. Tumberjon wants to put an arrow into Harma the Dogshead, but is ordered not to by Thoren.[1]
Tumberjon possibly returns to Castle Black and then departs with Bowen Marsh to confront the Weeper. The brothers of the Night's Watch left to defend the Wall from the wildling assault name straw dummies after missing brothers, including Eddison Tollett, Othell Yarwyck, Watt of Long Lake, and Tumberjon.[2]
Quotes
Harma the Dogshead has the van, the poxy bitch. Goady crept up on her camp and saw her plain by the fire. That fool Tumberjon wanted to pick her off with an arrow, but Smallwood had better sense.[1]
