The brotherhood without banners learn that Ser Wilbert was killed by forces of House Lannister the year before during the War of the Five Kings. His sons are away in the westerlands with Robb Stark, King in the North and King of the Trident.[1]

The text does not specify the level of authority Wilbert has over the town nor his surname. It is possible he belongs to a house of landed knights and that Stoney Sept is part of their domain.
